The CICI PI Meeting will be hosted at the UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center.

Lodging

Airports

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the primary and closest airport to UCLA, located approximately 12 miles south of UCLA (30–60 minutes by car depending on traffic, 75-90 minutes by public transit).

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Long Beach Airport (LGB) are alternative airports in the area, but are further away from UCLA.

Transportation

By Car

Parking is available 24/7 in the nearby Parking Lot 8 garage on the roof for $17 per day. Please see attached walking directions provided by Luskin. Luskin’s underground parking garage is only for their in-house overnight stay guests. All participants not staying at Luskin overnight will have to park at Parking Lot 8 and walk over the bridge to Luskin.

By Bus

Many public transit local and long distance commuter buses stop at UCLA. Payment for these buses can be done with cash or by creating a digital TAP card using Apple Wallet or the TAP card app.

To/From LAX Airport or Union Station

UCLA Transportation has detailed guides for getting to UCLA from LAX Airport or Union Station at https://transportation.ucla.edu/getting-to-ucla/lax-union-station.

Public transit buses stop at the LAX Metro Transit Center (formerly LAX City Bus Center). Free LAX shuttle buses that run every 15-45 minutes connect the terminals to the LAX Metro Transit Center, stopping at pink pillars.

Waymo’s autonomous vehicle service does not currently go to the LAX terminals.
